12.11.2024, Apeldoorn, Christopher Robeller will be speaking at the Dutch “Houtdag” conference event, alongside high-level speakers such as Hermann Blumer. The Houtdag is going for depth: the annual knowledge event about building with wood has now become a complete conference day, with keynote speakers and short, knowledge-intensive lectures.

During this Houtdag, frontrunners from home and abroad will talk about their specialism. About three different themes. Constructing with wood, the possibilities and limitations is one of those themes. The second is the development and financing of timber construction projects, both of unique buildings and of serial timber construction. What are the pitfalls? How do timber construction projects differ from ‘normal’ construction development?

At the end of the Houtdag it is time to celebrate timber construction in the Netherlands with the presentation of the awards of the National Timber Construction Award 2024.
